The AIPH World Green City Awards will recognise cities which promote and support greater inclusion of nature and plants in urban environments.

Briefed to design the logo with the requirement that the AIPH logo and strapline ‘The world’s champion for the power of plants’ were also to appear to associate AIPH, the International Association of Horticultural Producers with the awards.

The chosen design clearly spells out the name of the awards, using the green colour shades from the AIPH floral icon within the letterforms to create a bold and colourful identity.

The use of a lock-up, locking each element (AIPH logo + strapline + awards name + date) in their relative positions, will ensure the branding is clearly and consistently applied across all communication channels.

The AIPH World Green City Awards were launched at the AIPH 2021 Green City conference with the first awards ceremony scheduled for Autumn 2022.
