MGISS

MGISS is one of the UK’s leading geospatial service providers advising on the smarter use of Geospatial data, technology, and the digital transformation of field operations which are helping critical infrastructure companies and the lives they serve.

Partnering with digital agency Ri Web, I was briefed to redesign the MGISS website and clearly communicate their geospatial expertise, services and partnerships with industry-leading GIS solution providers such as Esri and vGIS.

Before the design phase commenced virtual meetings were held with key members of the MGISS team to gain an in-depth understanding of their brand and website objectives.

The geolocation pin is a key visual element of the MGISS corporate identity. Wireframe versions of the geo pin were designed to reflect their innovative geospatial solutions and the utilities, infrastructure, and environment sectors in which they specialise.

The dark design, using their corporate colours, created a visually bold website. Animated icons and graphics highlighted key messages, solutions and services. The creation of a video further reinforced MGISS’s commitment in empowering infrastructure providers to future-proof their assets and deliver a constant service to the people they serve. The video is also shown in presentations, at events, and across social media further raising brand awareness.

I also designed the MGISS powerpoint salesdeck and a white paper entitled ‘Smart geospatial solutions: Enabled by Grafi, delivered by MGISS’, repurposing the website assets to ensure brand consistency.
